Summary:
As Chief Executive and Principal, Neil is responsible for the development and delivery of outstanding provision for college apprentices, full time learners aged 16-18 years, full time A level learners aged 16-18 years, full time and part time adult education learners and higher skills learners. The Chief Executive and Principal will oversee the day to day operations of the Dudley learning quarter, the Construction Apprenticeship Training Centre and any other delivery centres for the provision detailed above. Working alongside the Corporation, Chief Officers and senior colleagues, the Chief Executive and Principal will play a pivotal role in the determination and oversight of the strategic development of Dudley College of Technology, its subsidiaries and associated organisations (including the Dudley Academies Trust).
In terms of developments in Dudley, the College has led on the creation of the Learning Quarter in Dudley and Brierley Hill and is now on track to open one of the country’s first Institute of Technology, opening in September 2021. The College is a committed partner in working with University of Worcester and DMBC in creating a higher education facility for Health & Science in the town.
